Dear All
As it is I am getting tired reporting about the self-destructive tendencies in Europe and in my home country Austria.
It becomes overwhelming and staying positive and trusting is a daily challenge.
Therefore I consciously look on the bright side of life.
I look at the beauty of nature.
I walk outside and stand in silence - breathing in the scents of the fields, hay and the forest after a summer rain.
The lime trees (Linden trees) in front of our house are in full blossom and millions of bees (!!!) are eagerly collecting pollen and honey.
I am healthy and I can choose my lifestyle.
I am teaching wonderful people using skills that I have not earned but was given.
My children and family are healthy, I have more than enough to be grateful for.
What I realised is:
It is not happy people who are thankful. It is thankful people who are happy.
This hit me again.
Whatever happens around us - look at what you have got. See opportunities to grow in your challenges.
Let's join together in a session on gratitude - I am soo looking forward to that.
The photo was taken yesterday on my morning walk!
Lots of love to all of you
Namaste
Barbara
