A visionary leader, Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to agriculture and women, 2013 Next Business Woman of the Year and named by Primary Magazine as one of the top ten women in agriculture, Lindy Nelson, was the MC at worldwomen17.
Lindy has followed a governance pathway spanning farm ownership, directorship of a crown entity and founding an organisation that is successfully developing women’s leadership, business and governance capability in the agricultural sector.
A true champion for women, Lindy feels privileged that through her role she can spend every day supporting women to change their lives by building their confidence and giving them the leadership, business and governance skills they need to transform their working and personal lives.
Now indulging in her new found passion of writing, Lindy is a regular columnist and blogger, unafraid to tackle tricky topics and doing so with humor and honesty.
Having travelled to San Francisco with Barbara and Theresa and been an integral part of worldwomen17 since its inception, Lindy is committed to supporting the intensions and actions of worldwomen and helping the vision grow.
